VICTORIA, BC, CANADA (August 1, 2017) – Go Power!, a leading provider of solar panels to the RV, marine, work truck, and fleet truck markets, today officially announced that Valterra Products, LLC (“Valterra”), a portfolio company of G. Scott Capital Partners, LLC (“Scott Capital”), has purchased Go Power! from Carmanah Technologies Corporation (TSX: CMH) (“Carmanah”).
Go Power! Division Manager Mike Stephens believes the sale is perfectly aligned with the company’s mission to drive dramatic growth through advances in technology, continually improving the possibilities for solar and inverter use across recreational and industrial applications.
“Valterra’s growth and business focus complement our plans and goals for Go Power! for the long term. We are proud to continue along the path we have paved and are also excited to join a group that wants to support that journey,” said Stephens.
The Valterra family’s values complement those that Go Power! has been developing since its inception over 20 years ago—competitive, innovative, and always focused on quality products and customer service. These values will remain priorities as Go Power! and Valterra move forward together.
